Catherine: Full Body

Catherine is a platform- and adventure game made by ATLUS and Studio Zero, and it is about an earnest and kind 32-year-old man named Vincent Brooks. He has been with his girlfriend, Katherine McBride, for several years now; she's fully committed to the relationship, while Vincent is not, and this leads to a messy affair with another girl who's far more carefree and tempting... and her name is also Catherine! How will Vincent fix the situation? Well, this is also a choice-making game, so the choice you make will determine Vincent's inner ideas and the ending of the story.

So, what exactly is Catherine: Full Body?

Catherine: Full Body is a remake (some like to call it a sequel) of the original, Catherine!

Catherine: Full Body was released for the PlayStation 4 in the beginning of year 2019, but in summer 2020 got released for the Nintendo Switch, which gave me a chance to finally play this game and enjoy it without having to look at gameplays on YouTube and miss out on all the fun!

ATLUS added ofcourse new things into the remake, but the main noticeable thing is that... in this remake, a third woman appears in Vincent's life! A cute and innocent girl named Rin (short for Qatherine) crosses paths with Vincent after he saves her one night from a stalker. She has temporary amnesia and is incredibly pure as a person, with new looks and perspectives on life that Vincent himself never thought about, making him attracted to Rin. Now you've got 3 girls to choose from... who are you going to choose?

Some other additional contents to the game were more possible endings (there are 13 endings in Catherine: Full Body), the game's puzzles are easier than the original (you can also now pick "Safety Difficulty", which makes you able to skip entire puzzles), a new puzzle mode called "Remix", new drink (Wine) is added to the bar, fresh and new cutscenes and dialouges... yeah, both big and small changes and twists to Catherine: Full Body!

Well then, the final question: Would I recommend Catherine: Full Body? YES! Without a doubt, this game is one you cannot miss. It has so much to offer, yes, but the game is about you. After all, you are the one who will choose Vincent's fate based on your own personal thoughts on relationships and life. Will you try to win Katherine back, get tempted into the catherine affair or try something completely different with Qatherine? That is all up to you, viewers. Overall rating of Catherine: Full Body, 8,5/10!

Album cover for Miki Matsubara's "Stay With Me". Miki Matsubara , or Suzie Matsubara [as she also went by], was a composer, lyricist and singer from Japan. She was known for her 80's J-Pop love songs, but really became famous after her debut single, " Stay With Me ", was released in November 1979. I'm sure many of you have heard this song, and I'm a fan of this talented woman myself, thus I decided to write about her. Early Life Miki Matsubara was born 28th of November 1959 in Osaka ( Kishiwada ), Japan. She grew up with a father, mother and younger sister in Hiraoka Town . Miki quickly became familiar with jazz music, as her mother was a jazz singer. She started playing piano at an outstandingly young age of 3 and simply embraced music in general, not only jazz but also rock. She went to ordinary schools her whole childhood and was praised as being a great and hardworking student who would enroll into university, but Miki had already dreams of beco...

The Black-Haired Woman: Chiyuki

For this Character of the Week , I chose my favourite female protagonist ever. However, there will be heavy spoilers in this one, so beware if you have not seen the anime Death Parade yet! Her name in the anime is never revealed until the very end, and she has black hair with a tiny white strand on the right side, so she has always been known as The Black-Haired Woman (or, in Japanese, 黒髪の女 [Kurokami no Onna]). To fans, she is sometimes referred to as Onna , which means "woman" in Japanese. Her real name is Chiyuki , though her surname is unknown. The series followed Decim , the main character and the bartender of Quindecim , but the way Decim judges souls changes completely and the story makes a turn when the mysterious woman shows up at the bar. As she has no idea how or why she came there, she became Decim´s assistant at the bar and started helping him with the lost souls that comes frequently to the place, just like the black-haired woman. When you die, you arriv...
