Soul Eater: Death The Kid

"Death City is home to the famous Death Weapon Meister Academy, a technical academy headed by the Shinigami - Lord Death himself. Its mission: to raise "Death Scythes" for the Shinigami to wield against the many evils of their fantastical world. These Death Scythes, however, are not made from physical weapons; rather, they are born from human hybrids who have the ability to transform their bodies into Demon Weapons, and only after they have consumed the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch's soul.

Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe who only seems to care about what's cool, aims to become a Death Scythe with the help of his straight-laced wielder, or meister, Maka Albarn. The contrasting duo work and study alongside the hot headed Black☆Star and his caring weapon Tsubaki, as well as the Shinigami's own son, Death the Kid, an obsessive-compulsive dual wielder of twin pistols Patty and Liz.

Soul Eater follows these students of Shibusen as they take on missions to collect souls and protect the city from the world's threats while working together under the snickering sun to become sounder in mind, body, and soul."

Soul Eater is an Adventure, dark fantasy manga and anime series. The series was written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. The manga had a long run for having 25 volumes; it got released for the first time in May 12th 2004 and continued throughout the years to August 12th 2013. A 51-episode-long anime adaption came around from April 2008 to March 2009.
I will be talking about the Shinigami's son, Death the Kid, and give some small opinions on the series as usual.

Death the Kid is one of the main protagonists in Soul Eater.

Appearance-wise, Death the Kid appeared as a thin, teenaged young man who is a bit shorter than Liz and Patty and reaches only up a little past the latter's shoulder. At this point, he is 158 centimeters tall. Kid's eyes have two shades of yellow ringing around his pupil. The outside ring is a bright yellow while the inner ring is a dark yellow, similar to the color of gold. He typically sports a standard black suit with white rectangles. The rectangles are placed in a manner that is completely symmetrical. There are at least six small rectangles along the seam where the sleeves attach to the jacket, and four small rectangles run along the front of his jacket. His undershirt is a formal white dress shirt, and a metallic skull rests under his collar, and could be used as a tie. His color scheme is meant to copy his father's. He also sports black hair with three white stripes, known as the Lines of Sanzu, along the left side of his hairline.

Personality-wise, described as possessing an "uptight personality", Death the Kid is known to be a normally calm and mature individual compared to other characters. Throughout the series, he's shown to be prideful of his status as a Shinigami, wanting to become the next full-fledged Shinigami and inheriting his father's responsibilities. However, he also wants to do so in his own unique way. Kid also has a great sense of morality and order, having expressed that despite being a god, he doesn't deny evil and that there's no one person without some evil within them. However, he believes that everything is about balance instead and strives to keep the balance between "good" & "evil" in equilibrium.

Death the Kid was most definitely my favourite character in Soul Eater when I was watching it. I have not read the manga, I only watched a part of the anime. Honestly? I thought it was really intriguing in the beginning but I got bored pretty quickly of it, unfortunately. I am not the biggest fan of the humor, the artstyle is kinda funky to me... things like that. But this does not mean it is a bad anime! It is just not my cup of tea, as I usually say.
Feel free to read or watch it yourself and give your take on the manga/anime.

Bongcheon Dong Ghost

Bongcheon-Dong Ghost is a short, South Korean horror webtoon (a type of digital comic) created by Horang August 23rd 2011. In July 2011, artist Horang published the short webtoon " Ok-su Station Ghost " on Naver Webtoon (a webtoon portal). This webtoon included 3D-like effects, including in a scene in which a ghost´s hand appears to jump out of the screen as if to grab the viewer. Horang followed this webcomic up with "Bongcheon-Dong Ghost" later that month. An English fan translation and video dub were created in August, as the webcomic quickly went viral internationally. Some people also recorded themselves reading the story and putting it up on YouTube for people to see their reactions. If you are too scared to read the story on your own, I recommend searching up PewDiePie's video of reading Bongcheon Dong Ghost. SPOILER. Set in Bongcheon-dong, Seoul, the webcomic shows a student walking home from school late at night meeting a female ghost who wa
